I have a Movie Camera Model Panasonic 3CCD using a mini DV. I Can't seem to download the Software on my Laptop - panasonic 3ccd lowlight cameras
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall again, but it did not work. I tried i on other computers, but not yet Work.it the connected USB to the laptop and no answer. PS: For days, I noticed that my phone is locked Driver Incompability.Is say that one of the reasons. Any help appreciated. I have an HP Pavilion dv 6000 laptop model.

You need a FireWire aka IEEE 1394 aka iLink cable and make port on the computer must be connected. If you do not, you can get a FireWire PC Card adapter. Following the map, you need a cable 4-pin to 4-pin or 4 pin to 6-pin (camera DV port, 4 pin). Hope this helps!
To download videos from your digital camcorder, you need a FireWire connection. Your laptop probably not. You can buy a FireWire card and cable to PC, but your laptop can be a problem, you have your laptop with an empty bay and all have worked. FireWire and USB are completely different and not interchangeable. Not sure about the driver problem. Do you think that the software does not work because if the camera via the USB port is not connected? FireWire to resolve this problem.
